Dear Father

Dear, Father, now where should I start my life again?
I was, and am always, this lost child who needs to hold on to you.
Dear, Father, I thought the long years ahead are ours to live on.
Oh, how wrong I was.

It was by the will of our Lord that you could finally take a rest
I was taken aback but no, I know He loves you more
And shall you be waiting for us at the porch of our dream house there?

It was by the will of The Mighty that He lends us His strenght
So that never does it cross our minds that the world is a cruel place
And shall we stand up still despite the crashing waves beneath ...

Oh, shall we?

So, be at ease
The tears have dried up long ago
And whatever paths you had trodden, we shall follow ...
